Joe escorts Madilyn to a coffee shop across the street. There is no other customers in the tiny shop with only three tables. The store owner also isn't paying much attention to the business on this slow day. There is undivided attention between Joe and Madilyn.
He stared at her intensely. No words came out of his mouth. And no words can describe the warm feeling that is blossoming in his heart. Surprisingly, Madilyn isn't shying away from his gazing eyes. Instead, she returns the stare with a soft watery eyes and a warm smile could cast away any burden.
Without saying anything, such as questioning where he know her from, or why her name strikes a chord, Joe finishes his coffee quietly. He walks her home in silence. But they are very connected in heart. Holding hands as they stoll seems natural.
The walk home was eternal. But for Joe it was like a blink of an eye. At her door . . .
