Warp Space

Throughout the history of the Milky Way galaxy, Ferritons have been roaming through the stars, like ancient Gypsies. Even with a longer life span than humans, without a space travel technology, their dream of finding a paradise will be unachievable. Warp space is the technique Ferritons utilize to bring them from one sector of the galaxy to another.

The technique is simple in concept. Ferritons' asteroids have machines capable of warping space until the source sector and the destination sector becomes adjacent. Then all they have to do is manuver their ship into the adjacent sector, before turning off the machine.

However, a warp in space can cause objects traveling in space to lose its orbit; by allowing the objects to move from one sector to another sector through the warp. In the worst case, it may disrupt space/time continumum.
