Cyclops

With the success of the Hercules (see next section), United FOX decided that it would be wise to create a combat version for the military. However, the combat version never caught on. Seven prototypes were made and demonstrated. The performance was excellent but the government simply did not have the budget to spend on purchasing exotic CombatTitan that could not deliver the fire power offered by other, much more crude, models. Soon after, the production was discontinued.

Basically, the Cyclops is exactly the same as the Hercules except a faster and newer engine is installed to allow agility and other features required in combat. The battery capacity has also been increased to allow longer use. New synthetic skin have been created to absorb solar energy for the Cyclop to stay self-reliant on missions. Unfortunately, the solar cells covered synthetic skin provides lesser protection to penetration. Other than that, BackPak, FlightPak, and other combat equipments have been created to outfit the Titan.

The BackPak BP-004 module is capable of carrying a cannon pod, a combat staff, a long-range communication module UF-CM-63, and a FlightPak FP-011. The communication module has an effective range of 273 kilometers.

The Tri-pin Projectile Cannon Pod TP-PCP-013 is United FOX's latest invention in the military field. Though it looks like a pistol, it could actually be used as a multi-burst machine gun. The cannon pod utilizes United FOX's newest technology, the triangular shaped bullet with a tip in the front. It allows maximum penetration and still delivers the fire power after penetration.

The new bullet is small, doubling the capacity of the pod, compared to other similar bullets. Bullet is loaded directly into the gun, which provides thirty bursts per load. To reload, the pod is returned to the BackPak. The BackPak carries an additional supply of 180 bullets.

The Multi-Purpose Combat Staff MCE-027 is specifically designed for Cyclops. It is United FOX's way of showing the world the human-machine integration potential of the Titan-series cyberoids. During the demonstrations, the staff is used to compare the Cyclops' agility to humans.

At first, the staff appears to be half the length of a regular staff, which can be used as a short baton. But the staff is more than meets the eyes. With an electronic signal from the Cyclops, the cylinders on either side of the grip extends to morph it into a full-length staff. The full-size staff is best used by pilots whom are skilled at Asian fighting techniques.

Send another electronic signal, and two elongated cones pop out from both sides of the staff. A pilot could use these along with the staff for more devastating effect in hand-to-hand combat. These cones are also high-power explosive rockets that the pilot may launch from the staff. The rockets are not activated until launched, thus the pilot can be sure that they will not explode in hand-to-hand combat. As with the cannon pod, the explosive cons may be reloaded in the BackPak. Ten additional rockets are stashed in the BackPak for reloading.

(1) Every hundred feet (or 38.5 meters) thereafter generates a minus one to hit.
(2) Must penetrate synthetic skin before damage could be done to any parts being protected by it.
(3) Retractable wings are part of the FlightPak. Thus if the FlightPak is destroyed, the wings will not be functional.

Hercules

As part of the TitanWorker series, Hercules is United FOX's top-of-the-line cyberoid. The Hercules is a fully functional worker robot resembling a human in every way. It allows the pilot to control it as if the pilot is controlling him or herself. The Hercules is marketed as a high-priced, distinct model for precision work on vessels.
